Based in Castilla, I am a professional portrait photographer focused on revealing the essence of the person in front of the camera. For me, portrait photography is an exciting and demanding discipline: I use light, expression, pose and context as tools to build sincere, recognizable images. I have developed my practice across editorial work, artistic projects and corporate assignments. My photographs have appeared in publications such as El Mundo, Papel, Tiempo and Wired, and I have shot portraits for national institutions and companies. That experience has taught me how to combine speed and creativity when circumstances demand it, without sacrificing a clear and powerful visual language. My approach is collaborative: I create a working environment where the subject feels calm and confident, which helps produce natural expressions and looks. I work both in studio and on location, tailoring each proposal to the subject’s personality and the brief’s needs, whether it’s an editorial portrait, an artistic project or a corporate portrait session. I aim for every image to convey something distinctive, not a generic photograph. Although portraiture is my specialty, I also produce corporate portraits and image libraries for companies, always ensuring the result aligns with the brand identity and intended uses (professional profiles, internal or external communication). My experience allows me to be chameleon-like: I adapt style, lighting and staging so the final image achieves communication goals while retaining visual impact. Beyond professional commissions, photography is a central part of my life through personal projects and teaching.
