I’m Andrzej Witek and I specialize in professional portrait photography from my studio in Vallcarca, Barcelona. My approach is simple: real portraits without forced posing, designed for people who don’t enjoy being the center of attention. This sensitivity comes from my own story—a simple photo of my son with a spoon taught me to see the value of everyday moments—and from more than a decade documenting lives and celebrations across Barcelona. The result is timeless portraits that age well: images that bring you back to how you felt in that instant. How do I work? First we talk: listening to your idea is my priority. From there we plan the session around what makes you feel natural (studio in Vallcarca or nearby outdoor locations, time of day, and a few gentle prompts to relax). During the session I keep a relaxed, conversational atmosphere—my aim is for the experience to feel more like a chat or a date than a formal photoshoot. I guide without imposing, getting the best of you by letting things happen. Although portrait photography (individuals, couples and families) is my specialty, I also offer discreet, practical corporate photography and headshots for LinkedIn and CVs as an additional service. For these assignments I adapt my documentary approach to a professional, direct visual language that respects the identity of the person and the company.
