Professional portraits in Lleida by Ken Goddard. An artistic, human approach that aims to boost self-esteem: collaborative sessions, studio and outdoor shoots, and occasional workshops.
I’m Ken Goddard, a visual artist based in Lleida, and I specialize in professional portrait photography with an artistic, human-centered perspective. My work is rooted in the conviction that photography can be therapeutic: I help people see and accept the beauty they already possess, increasing self-esteem and confidence in front of the camera. My Body Project summarizes this approach — “sensualize, not sexualize” — celebrating real bodies with scars, wrinkles and marks as part of an authentic narrative. My portrait approach combines technique and sensitivity. I use reflections, fog, clouds, and compositions of lines and angles to build images with emotional weight and a carefully considered aesthetic. I work with both natural light outdoors and controlled studio lighting; each session is a small collaboration in which we explore wardrobe, elements and atmosphere until we find what best expresses the subject’s personality. I work closely and respectfully with clients: before the session we have a conversation to understand expectations, boundaries and ideas. During the shoot I prioritize creating a relaxed, trusting environment — this allows even the most hesitant people to open up and appear authentically in the photographs. I often introduce elements, textures or small visual experiments (such as drapery, projections or objects) that enhance form and tell a unique story. In addition to studio and outdoor portrait sessions, I run portrait workshops and photography classes in Lleida for those who want to learn technique or prepare their own projects. These activities complement my portrait work and are aimed at both enthusiasts and professionals in training. If you are looking for a professional portrait with artistic intent and human sensitivity in Lleida, I offer a personal, reflective experience that goes beyond a single image: it’s an invitation to recognize yourself, celebrate your body and take home photographs you will proudly display.
