I’m Pepe J. Galanes, a photographer based in Daimiel, and my work focuses on professional portrait photography. My approach starts with a simple premise: before I press the shutter we talk. A prior conversation—often over a coffee—helps me understand who you are, the image you want to project, and how to combine light, posture and context to achieve it. Portrait is my specialty: from candid outdoor portraits to studio work designed for corporate headshots, LinkedIn or CV use. I aim to capture essence rather than a rigid pose; that’s why I pair relaxed, conversational sessions with considered lighting setups (backlight, Rembrandt lighting, Octabox or other modifiers depending on the desired character) so the final images feel honest, present and communicative.
